News Corp. Could Bid for European Pay TV Players (New York Times)

The News Corporation may bid for two major pay-TV players, Germany’s Premiere and Spain’s Digital+ , in a move that could give more responsibility to James Murdoch, son of News Corp. chief Rupert Murdoch, The Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday.

I don’t think that this Wii DVD player is ever going to come out. Hell, does anyone even want it anymore? Anyway…Nintendo’s official statement on a Wii with DVD capabilities is posted below. “With supply constraints of the Wii] continuing worldwide, the priority is on the current model.” - Nintendo statement Nintendo has also stated that they are planning to launch there 1seg tuner in retail stores in Japan. Up until now, the device was only available for purchase online. Link

On CBC Newsworld today the CBC's reporter, Paul Hunter, said "About half the Afghans turned and fled, so there's clearly some work to be done see box at right in link below]." Chilling news... A net-neutrality activist group has uncovered plans for the demise of the free Internet by 2010 in Canada. By 2012, the group says, the trend will be global.
